Dynamic Frame Display

The Dynamic Frame Display shows a real-time stream of frames, enabling you to literally see the cuts in video. You can switch the Dynamic Frame Display off by clicking on the button below the centre frame.

When you click on any of the frame images, that frame will move to the centre. The yellow bar at the top represents groups, the white bar, segments. The current frame is the centre frame.

Editing with the Dynamic Frame Display

You can add a cut by either double clicking on the centre frame, or by cmd + clicking on a specific frame.

When a cut has been created you will notice a black dot appears in the centre of the scrubber circle, this black dot indicates the frame that will be used for the Poster Frame Image. You can change this frame by moving the playhead to another position and choosing Timeline/Set Poster Frame from the Menu, or using the keyboard shortcut ‘Shift + Apple + P’.
