File Keywords
Keywords are a great way to add simple single word or short phrase tags to video files so that they can be quickly found again. Version 3.0 of the application adds a keywords field to the File Window so as to enable quick tagging while browsing.
Once a file has been tagged with some Keywords, typing in the filter field at the top right of the file window will quickly retrieve these files.
Adding keyword in the File Window
To add or edit Keywords in the file window, simply type or edit the words you wish to use in the keywords field. Click on the tick button to apply those keywords to the file. If you have made a mistake & wish to revert to the current keywords state, click on the X button;
New in Version 3 is an auto-complete function for keywords, where adding a character into the keywords field will bring up a list of keywords starting with that character.
Please note that you can also access File Keywords from the File Annotation Window.
Segment & Group Keywords
You may also apply keywords to individual segments or groups from the word annotation window. Please refer to Word Annotation for more detail.
When segments or groups have keyword annotation, they can be re-found while filtering in the Clip Filter.
