Moving Files

New to Version 3.2 are both 'drag & drop' and a 'Move' tool, which enables files to be able to be copied, moved and (if required) added to a Collection.

Drag and Drop

To drag and drop files, simply select the files that you wish to move, then click and hold, and drag the files to the destination you wish to move them to. You can drag files into the chooser pane of Frameline, or into the finder, or any third party application such as After Effects or Final Cut Pro.

Move Tool

To access the move tool, select some files that you wish to move (shift click to select multiple contiguous files, or ctrl click for non-contiguous) and then click on the arrow icon at the bottom of the file display;

This will bring up the move window;

To use this window, select the location you wish to move or copy the files to in the file browser, then click on continue.

You may also assign the files you are moving to a particular Collection or Part, by checking the 'Assign to' check box.
