Notate Window
The Notate Window enables segments & groups to be annotated with wide variety of descriptive data. When segments have been annotated in the notate window, they can be searched for in the advanced Clip Filter.

1: Notation Toggle
Use this control to switch between Content & Word notation.
2: Zoom Controls
These controls provide a number of ways to increase the size of specific parts of the timeline. Please refer to the Zoom page for specific details.
3: Selection Display
This text display will show information about the current selection.
4: Timecode Display
The timecode display shows a variety of time information about the currently loaded video. Please refer to the Timecode page for detailed information about this display.
5: Segment list
This interface element shows a list of segments & groups. Click on an item to select it. Please refer to Segment list for more details.
6: Group Button
This button enables one or more Segments to be turned into a Group of Segments. To create a Group, select one or more Segments & click the Group button. To ungroup, follow the same process in reverse.
7: Alternate Order Controls
You can change the order of segments & groups in the Segment list view, creating an alternate order. Please refer to the Alternate Order page for more details.
8: Mark & Show/Hide/Only controls
Segment marking is the method by which video is edited in the application. You select a segment in the timeline & click on the 'Mark' button to mark a segment. Marked segments can then be hidden or isolated in the timeline by using the 'Show, Hide or Only' buttons. Please refer to the Mark S.H.O page for more information.
