Preferences

Frameline 47 preferences consist of three panes: General, Favourites & Sharing. The preference pane can be brought up by choosing 'Preferences from the 'Frameline 47' menu, or via the 'cmd ,' keyboard shortcut.

General

General Preferences concern file processing options, enabling you to ignore certain folders, file types & disks. When a change is made to this pane, the file window display will re-set, and the corresponding items will either begin to show or be hidden.

Places

This preference pane enables you to control the Home/File places display, & to set the folders to be used as master library & Capture. Please click on the link for more information.

Places enable you to specify particular folders, for example a Final Cut Pro folder, for one click access from the File Window.

To add or change the Favourites location either click on the Heart icon or launch the application preferences. This will then bring up the Preferences window, enabling you to change or add favourite folders:

To add a favourite, simply click on the + button, then navigate to the folder you would like to assign as a favorite. To remove a favourite, simply highlight the item you wish to remove & click on the - button.

Sharing

This preference pane enables activation of the Sharing functionality, as well as activation of the file locking functionality. Please refer to those chapters for more information.
